Snow Snow and More Snow

Holy Cow! Robert and I started school today and we like our classes. Robert had class until 7pm and my afternoon class was cancelled because my professor was at a conference. I came home and did some cleaning and it was snowing hard. There was half an inch on the car when I left and the plan was that I would pick-up Robert after his class. I went to pick him up and there was about five inches of snow on the car! No joke. I scraped the snow off the car and tried to leave the driveway. No go. I could get out of driveway but not past the dip and into the street. I tried four times but I would get to the dip (which no one could see because of all the snow) and then I would get stuck and start to slide to the right. There was a car parked to the right and I did not want to hit it. I finally called Robert and he said he would walk (it was still snowing). Luckily we live about two blocks from campus. He couldn't tell the difference between the sidewalk and the street. There was only one set of tire marks in the main streets of town because there was so much snow. I stayed on the phone and talked to him until he got home. I had dinner waiting so he could warm up. We are hoping to be able to get to school tomorrow.

Good posts Nat. How much snow is there now? Shaun said it snowed ALL day. Call me tomorrow and tell me!

Winter has hit! Did Robert have to walk today? Did you?

Oh my heck! I am glad you talked with him on phone while he walked home. I am sure he was glad to get home to his wife and a good warm meal! Be safe
