So it's been awhile. Since my last post, we had no more snow until today :( We had stake conference and Elder Ballard was our presiding speaker. He spoke about listening to the Spirit and getting our finances in order. Robert had to leave extra early to "usher" because it had started snowing. It was the dense, wet snow that sticks to everything. We were in the Provo Tabernacle because we had an Apostle presiding. Robert drove with a friend who was also an usher and I picked up the friend's wife (who is also a friend) and we drove and sat together.
We started a new semester at school and received last semester's grades on Friday. Robert beat me in evidence and I kicked butt in professional responsibility :) Also, despite my computer's attempt to ruin my grade in business associations, I passed with a not to shabby grade (oh what it might have been if not for my computer crashing in the middle of the final). We have different schedules this semester but we still have a few classes together. Robert still works for Lexis Nexis and I got a job with a publishing company in Orem. I love it. I get to use my undergraduate education. I am an editor of literary criticisms and I also edit foreign language translations for the company (no I do not translate from other languages, I edit the translations so they are in proper format and use proper English). I work with awesome people and I get paid! This job makes me feel like my English degree was good for something besides getting me into law school. Many people think I am crazy for doing law school and having a part-time job, but I like it. Naturally, we are busy with full-time school and part-time jobs.
Last Friday we had dinner and played games with Lauren and her boyfriend Chris. The food was good and we had a great time. Friends are awesome. This Friday the law school gang is getting together. Instead of Geek Night we are doing Austen night for the girls, and Guys Night for the boys. It is going to be fun.
Also, please do not judge my writing ability on my blog. I post in the spare time that I have. I am much more careful at my job and at school. This is the one place where I don't have to use "correct" English :P
